Alexander Åberg

Intro

Alexander Åberg, a 27 year old Mechatronics engineer.

In Alexander’s current assignment at Volvo Trucks Technology (Automotive), he works as a component engineer, with global responsibility of Gear Shifting
Actuators and Clutch actuators within the Powertrain department.
From working as a component engineer at Volvo Trucks Alexander have gain a lot
of experience in leading development projects, create project time plans, defining
deliverables, lead design activities and finally lead supplier discussions to meet
targeted deliveries.
Before Volvo Trucks, Alexander worked 2.5 years at Ascom (Telecom) as a
Product Reliability Engineer, designing handsets for healthcare and industry
users. From working within a smaller company, Alexander have also learned the
importance of leading individual tasks, cross functional collaboration, activitybased
planning and product verification procedures.

Reliability and Integration Engineer

  • Product verification (Mechanical reliability/robustness)
